Hi parents and students,

What another busy week it has been! We have been studying hard for our first ever science test - I'm proud of all my students who tried their best. In social studies we have been learning about government, presidents, and symbols. Students had fun talking about the different symbols of their countries.

In reading and writing class we made good progress this week. Students are enjoying the Daily 5, and are making responsible choices as independent young learners. It's great to see them focused and engaged during this time!

And finally, we have been making math fun with math games. After finishing the math problems in their textbooks students can choose to play a game with a partner. These math games are all common core standards aligned, and are designed to increase math proficiency.

- Spelling Test on Monday!

- You need to login in using your child's email account to view homework in Google Classroom. Student Gmail information should be in the inside cover of their assignment book. If you can not find it, or have any issues with Google Classroom, please email me.

- Next Friday, the 14th, is the Mass of Exaltation of the Cross. Parents are always invited to attend.

Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend!
